Boxes / Boxboard

Boxboard refers to "flat" (uncorrugated) cardboard such as cereal or tissue boxes. Accepted at all local transfer stations in Paper recycling and curbside in Erving, Gill, and Montague. Remove liners, bags, etc. before recycling, but attached plastic windows are ok.

Pizza boxes are accepted at all local transfer stations in Paper recycling and curbside in Erving, Gill, and Montague. Must be empty and free of food, plastic or foil. Grease and is okay. They can also go into compost dumpsters at transfer stations with compost collection. Frozen pizza boxes have a moisture barrier and must be disposed in the trash.
