Some health care and personal care products are hazardous and should not be placed in the trash. Items marked Caution, Caustic, Corrosive, Danger, Flammable, Poison, Volatile, or Warning should be considered hazardous products. Disposal of these items is available at the annual Household Hazardous Waste Day.
Any product that is not labeled as above can be disposed of in the trash. Empty liquids prior to placing containers in the trash. Some plastic bottles, such as those that contained rubbing alchohol and hydrogen peroxide, can be recycled.
