The Salvation Army drop box at your town’s transfer station accepts a wide variety of items. The items listed below can be stained, ripped, broken, missing buttons or mates, but must be DRY. Salvation Army drop boxes are present at the transfer stations in these towns: Bernardston, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Conway, Deerfield, Heath, Leverett, Montague, New Salem, Northfield, Orange, Shelburne, Warwick, Wendell, and Whately.

The average person throws away more than ten pounds of used clothing every year. Unwearable or unsellable items can be recycled into wiping cloths, insulation, and stuffing. If possible, please place items in a plastic bag before putting them in the drop box.
