Greater Pioneer Valley Regional Hazwaste Collections

Reciprocal Household Hazardous Waste Collections 2026

All residents in District towns have access to a minimum of six household hazardous waste collections a year.

The District has agreements with other towns in the Pioneer Valley to allow Franklin County residents to participate at their events.
In all cases, pre-registration is required, and space may be limited. There is no guarantee of space in another community's collection.

To pre-register for the Franklin County Solid Waste District's September collection go to this page or complete and mail a flyer form found at town halls and transfer stations as well as in the local newspapers. Phone registration is not accepted.

To participate in a collection outside of Franklin County call Jan at the Solid Waste District at 413-772-2438.
