OSHA Trainings for Transfer Station Operations

The OSHA program for Franklin County transfer stations provides separate, but related, training programs for attendants and Town Administrators to implement an OSHA program.. The Franklin County Solid Waste District, in conjunction with Lynn Rose, EH & S consultant, has created training videos for town officials relating to OSHA requirements for the Town's transfer station.

On this page you will find training videos, PowerPoint presentations, associated plan templates, and guidance documents on different topics. More detailed information on each topic is available in the Attendant's and Administrator's Program Handbooks. Funding for these trainings came from MIIA.

Transfer Station OSHA Attendant Training Part 1 (Day 1)

With funding from the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, the Solid Waste District hired Lynn Rose, EH&S consultant, to conduct a two-day OSHA training for transfer station attendants. This video is the first day (part 1). Attendants should watch each segment and sign the certification form (link below). Send all questions about the training information to Jan Ameen.
